Security

Compensation data is the most sensitive data you own.

You are being asked to upload what everyone in your organization earns. That deserves a straight answer about what happens to it, so here it is.

Our commitments

SOC 2 compliance badge
SOC 2 compliant
HyperEquity operates under SOC 2 controls covering security, availability, and confidentiality. Documentation is available to prospects under NDA.
Never sold, never shared
Your census is used to produce your recommendations and nothing else. It is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not pooled into benchmarking data.
Not used to train models
Your compensation data does not train our algorithm or anyone else’s. The engine is deterministic and configured by you — it does not learn from your employees.
Access on a need-to-know basis
Inside your organization, managers see only their own population. Inside ours, access is limited to the people supporting your account.
Deleted on request
Ask and we remove your data. That applies during a trial, during a subscription, and after one ends.
Written down before you upload
The trial agreement states all of this in plain language, and you accept it before any data changes hands.

Both Directions

Why the trial agreement exists

A free trial that asks for salary data and offers nothing in writing is not a free trial, it is a risk. So before you upload anything, you accept a one-screen agreement — and it binds both sides.

Our side: your data is used only to produce your results, is held under SOC 2 controls, is never sold or shared, and is deleted when you ask.

Your side: you agree not to use trial output to reconstruct our pay-equity and allocation logic in a spreadsheet or a competing product. That algorithm is twenty-five years of practice, and it is the reason the product exists.

You can read the full text before signing, and you sign by typing your name. The whole thing takes under a minute.
